Throughout his NBA career, Kenyon Martin had developed the reputation as being one of the hard-nosed players in the league on and off the court.

This often led to him often times being straightforward with his opinions even if they are quite harsh. In a recent interview with Hot 97, Martin discussed the porous job that Phil Jackson has done as the team president of the New York Knicks that led him to bash veteran center Joakim Noah for possessing believes he has an utter lack of talent.

“That man gave Joakim Noah $70 million. That boy can't hit his a** with both hands…That boy suck. When he was with Chicago they put him in positions to succeed. When they had Derrick Rose and those guys in the East. They gave the ball to him at the elbow and let him do dribble handoffs. Teams were overplaying him guarding him like he was going to shoot the ball from the perimeter. Back up off of him!”

Martin clearly isn't a fan of Noah in any capacity giving zero credit for anything that he has accomplished in his career with the Chicago Bulls. The 32-year-old has garnered an NBA Defensive Player of the Year award, two All-Star Game selections, two NBA All-Defensive First Team nods, an NBA All-Defensive Second Team selection, and an All-NBA First Team nomination.

That said, Noah has quickly become a disappointment in his first year of his four-year, $72.5 million deal with the Knicks. He struggled to perform anywhere near the level warranted by his deal averaging just 5.0 points and 8.8 rebounds in 22.2 minutes per game.

On top of that, he saw his year end abruptly after undergoing an arthroscopy on his left knee in February. Things only worsened in March after he was suspended for 20 games with play for violating the league’s anti-drug policy. He will serve half of that suspension in the first 10 games of the 2017-18 season.

Although Martin's assessment of Noah is a bit harsh, the 32-year-old is clearly on the decline and could become a burdensome contract for the Knicks moving forward.
