The Golden State Warriors are in a very good mood lately, especially after coming off a win in Game 5 on Monday and securing another championship. Their players have also been active on social media lately, tweeting how they feel about their run of success this year.

However, Kevin Durant has continued to receive a lot of trolls despite winning, as many think it was the easy way out for him to get a ring. Some even went as far as retweeting a post he made back in 2010, where he called out some players for opting to lay for “super teams” back then like the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers.

The Finals MVP quickly fired back at one of them and made it clear he doesn’t consider the Dubs as one, and also pointed out that he is not playing for either of the aforementioned teams.

For one, it seems like the joke attempted by the fan went right over Durant's head.

While he has a point as he has taken his talents to Oakland, it’s also hard not to think of the Warriors as a “super team” as they have four All-Stars in their lineup, including the MVPs of the past three seasons, both in their primes. With how they dismantled the Cleveland Cavaliers, many are also thinking that it could be the start of a dynasty, if they’ll be able to keep their roster intact.

There may still be a lot of fans who think he does not deserve winning a title, but if Durant will be able to continue playing at a very high level and win a few more championships in the coming seasons, their opinion on him might eventually change, and it will also strengthen his case as an all time great player of the league as well.
