Kevin Durant clarified some of his previous comments made during The Bill Simmons Podcast in which he said Kyrie Irving was better than Allen Iverson.

This bit left many scratching their heads, as Iverson is a much more accomplished player, having won as many scoring titles as Durant has (four) and even owning the record for most points in a five-game playoff series — 178, two more than Durant during this year's NBA Finals.

Whether it was clarity needed or if it was just blown out of proportion, comparing handle-to-handle is a mere matter of preference, as both of these players have the skill to get anywhere on the court at will.

Iverson's crossover was a groundbreaker, being one of the first players in the league to incorporate an outside-to-outside crossover, extending past the knees and hips, which proved to have a devastating effect on defenders.

Irving's fast-twitch shake-and-bake will keep the best of defenders on their toes and give nightmares to hapless big men who dare to switch on the shifty point guard.

Even after clarifying, he didn't mind validating some arguments, especially one from rapper Lil Dicky, who chimed in the hoop talk over Twitter.
