Forwards Kevin Durant and Draymond Green shared a few laughs after the former received a technical foul toward the end of the Golden State Warriors 106-99 win over the Utah Jazz on Thursday night.

While a technical foul is no laughing matter for the most part, it turns out the two teammates weren't laughing at the call received with 9.3 seconds left in the game, but at the opposing coach's tactics as the game came to a close.

“We were laughing at Quin Snyder who kept calling timeouts,” Green told reporters after the game. “Like bro, you're down 10 with six seconds left, it's kinda over my man.”

“Just let us go to the restaurant and have a good dinner; just chill,” he added. “That's what we were laughing at. Nothing about the tech… that was funny. But that's all it was.”

Warriors play-by-play broadcaster Bob Fitzgerald said: “Utah is gonna use another timeout. Quin Snyder is just practicing game-ending situations.” His partner, analyst Jim Barnett responded with: “Absolutely, that's what he's doing.”

The analysis couldn't have been more on-point — while the Warriors have mostly coasted through the regular season, teams on the rise like Utah will try and make the most out of losing situations and coaches like Snyder will use moments where a loss is unavoidable to try and replicate a real situation where he can draw up a play and potentially win a game if executed correctly.
