This offseason a couple of Kevin Durant‘s former teammates with the Oklahoma City Thunder in guards Dion Waiters and Andre Roberson both received long-term deals.

In light of that, the 2017 NBA Finals MVP took to his YouTube page on Thursday to make a community post to give his own hilarious take on the situation by giving himself all credit for their new contracts.

All of this clearly made a little fun, brotherly jab at each of them from Durant, but there is some sincerity from him near the end of the post pointing out their hard work and dedication getting them their new long-term deals.

Roberson has developed into one of the top defensive players in the league that saw him earn his first All-Defensive Second Team this past season. The 25-year-old has shown the potential to develop into a key asset for Oklahoma City moving forward on his three-year, $30 million deal.

Meanwhile, Waiters is coming off one of his best seasons in the league in his first year with the Heat where he averaged 15.8 points along with posting career-highs of 39.5 percent from 3-point range and 4.3 assists per contest despite playing in just 46 games. His performance in an increased offensive role gave Miami much confidence and comfort in offering him a four-year, $52 million deal to return to the team.

Although it may come off as a bit snobbish to some, Durant is just simply voicing his congrats to his former teammates on earning their new deals.
