They may be teammates on the basketball court, but Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry have different NFL squads they support. Curry has been a lifelong Carolina Panthers fan while Durant has always rooted for the Washington Redskins as he grew up in the D.C. area.

When their teams faced off on Monday Night Football, the Golden State Warriors‘ dynamic duo made a bet which Durant lost as the Redskins went down, 25-16.

Many thought that the loser will have to wear the jersey of the winning team especially after seeing LeBron James do the same when he lost his bet with his good friend, Dwyane Wade,  but when the Dubs made their way to Oracle Arena, the former MVP and four-time scoring champion did not have a Panthers uniform on.

“I won’t have to wear a Panthers jersey on national TV walking into the arena. Probably won’t have to do that much. But we’ll see what he’s got for me.”

When asked what their bet was, Curry did not reveal it yet but said that everyone will see it and hinted on posting a video of Durant.

“You’ll know when you see it, You might not see it live, but you’ll see it, for sure. That’s all I got.”

What Curry will ask Durant to do or wear is definitely something worth monitoring in the next couple of days and if he'll post a picture or video on social media to let everyone see Durant do his part for the bet he lost.
