Life is easier for Kevin Durant in Oakland. At least on the basketball court.

We all knew Durant wasn't going to have to carry such a large burden now that he would be playing on the Warriors. And this statistic may represent that better than anything else.

Via Bleacher Report:

After a few questions about the Boston Celtics—how their fanbase would react to his first appearance against the team he spurned over the summer—a reporter began his question by telling Durant he’s on pace to shatter his career high for dunks in a season.

“I am?” the seven-time All-Star replied with genuine surprise. “Oh wow.”

Durant might be surprised but no one should. The Warriors' offense was already all-time before KD got there. Adding one of the best scorers ever makes them even more potent this season.

We haven't seen the Warriors hit their full stride yet, and they don't appear to have perfect chemistry yet, but they're still wrecking teams on the scoreboard. That just speaks to how much talent they have on the roster.

Durant gets to do more off the ball and doesn't have to create as much in isolations now. It's allowed him to be more efficient than ever.

“I’ve always been a guy that tries to finish over the rim,” he said. “When you get the ball out in transition, I think, just running out, grabbing rebounds and, you know, we have so many shooters, it’s allowed me space to kind of operate.”

KD in the Warriors system is a match made in heaven. Many more dunks will come.
