Kevin Durant‘s transition into the Golden State Warriors lineup could be summed up in one word — seamless. The 6-foot-9 hybrid wing has put up a 16-10-6 stat line in each of his last two games coming back from knee injuries, and while he's struggled to shoot the three (0-for-9 in the two games), he's meshed well within the offense and been a force at the glass as head coach Steve Kerr expected of him.

Durant looked at the team's stat sheet following a loss to the Utah Jazz that snapped the Warriors' second 14-game win streak of the season, seeing teammate Stephen Curry‘s 28 points on 6-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc.

The lanky forward couldn't help himself but administer a little sarcasm into the room.

“I guess I don't make him worse after all,” Durant said in the post-game conference via Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News, as the room shared a laugh. “Looks like we can play together.”

It might have been the 81st game of the season, but the critics and pundits are still wondering if Durant indeed makes a free-flowing Warriors offense a better one or not.

The Washington D.C. native is still aware of the media speculation and didn't hesitate to dish out his share of sarcasm. The most pressing thing for Durant will be to get back to being the explosive, dominant offensive player this team will need him to be in order to make a deep playoff run.
