Joel Embiid was back at it again recently with his hilarious posts on social media, and he recently made a new one when he gave a collective name for him and his teammates.

The 7-foot Kansas product made it known that he wants the fans to call him, Marklelle Fultz, Dario Saric and Ben Simmons as “FEDS,” as it includes one of their initials. With these times already exciting ones for the Philly faithful, the acronym Embiid came up with adds up to the anticipation of seeing them all on the court. However, when Kevin Durant found out about it, he wasn’t too impressed, and even questioned why they already have a nickname, especially with the four not even appearing together in an NBA game yet.

Although Durant makes a good argument, it can be still be thought of as a shot to the Sixers' young core. That said, it can light a fire for “FEDS” to show everyone that they are the real deal. Many are already looking forward to seeing how they will all co-exist, and the team's fans are starting to think that they have what it takes to make huge waves in the Eastern Conference.

If the four can live up to the hype and use Durant's comments as extra motivation to play better, it will be bad news for the rest of the competition. It also makes the 76ers and Golden State Warriors matches next season more intriguing to watch as Embiid and company may have something they want to prove to this year's Finals MVP.
