Kevin Durant has had the biggest summer of his career.
Once the Oklahoma City Thunder lost to the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals, Durant explored other options in free agency and landed on the Warriors’ roster.
This brought much criticism from NBA circles, but it was his decision.
Durant also remained committed to playing for Team USA despite many of his superstar counterparts dropping out.
It’s not his time to quiet down and reflect on everything, after winning the gold medal on Sunday in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Durant led the team in total points scored for the 2nd straight time in an olympic tournament, and now he gets the chance to sit back and celebrate before going back to work in the NBA.
Durant ended the gold medal game scoring 30 points, four assists, three rebounds, and two steals, and left a captioned post on his Instagram page about it.
He has earned a break, now it’s time to let him have his brewski.
