Every NBA player has had his share of growing up when first entering the league, whether it's dealing with non-stop media attention or learning how to manage a heftier check than they've ever had in their life.

For Kevin Durant, it wasn't any different, rolling into the league as an 18-year-old scoring machine out of the University of Texas and going through the same growing process as most young studs have to go through.

Ten years deep in his NBA tenure, it was no surprise to see some of his social media old stories resurface in a similar way to Jimmy Kimmel's “Mean Tweets” during the ESPYs reception — this time containing some of the thoughts from the Finals MVP as a younger star.

The likes of Karl-Anthony Towns, Mike Conley, Zach LaVine, his own teammate Zaza Pachulia, and even his mom couldn't help but to walk away after reading some of his old social media musing.

The 28-year-old now uses Twitter more seldom and has learned what to say and what not to say, especially when it comes to joining other teams and going at these peoples.
