New York Knicks rookie Kevin Knox feels like Saturday's 136-134 overtime victory over the Milwaukee Bucks helped him really grow as a player.

Knox finished with a season-high 26 points and helped the Knicks rally from a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter to pick up the win.

That type of performance seemed to really ignite Knox's confidence.

From Kevin Kernan of the New York Post:

“This was a big game for me, I grew up today,” said Knox — who shot 9-for-20, including 5-for-12 from 3-point range, with four rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block over 37 minutes off the bench. “Just being able to be out there in the fourth quarter, overtime, a big-time game against a big-time playoff team, it was good for me to be out there and learn from that.”

The Knicks have certainly had their struggles this season, but if Knox can build off of his game against the Bucks, it will go a long way towards helping David Fizdale's team turn things around.

Knox has averaged 8.6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game this year after being selected with the ninth overall pick in this year's NBA draft. His outing against Milwaukee was his sixth double-digit scoring game of the season.

New York currently sits at the bottom of the Atlantic Division along with Brooklyn, but maybe this type of comeback victory will spark a furious run over the next several games.

Next up is a matchup against the Washington Wizards on Monday before a trip to Boston on Thursday.
