Kevin Love has been a no-show the last two games — both losses — for the Cleveland Cavaliers against the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Making the matter worse is he also injured his knee in the third quarter of Game 4 on Monday by stepping on a referee's foot, according to the Akron Beacon Journal's Jason Lloyd. He sat out the fourth quarter, but expects to play in Game 5.

Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said after the game the Love was on the bench because he simply felt Channing Frye was playing well.

“To try to put Kevin back in with four minutes to go in the fourth quarter in a hostile game, hostile environment, it's not fair to him. Channing gave us a great lift off the bench, and we just rolled with it.”

Love shot just 4-of-14 from the field, scoring 10 points and pulling down seven rebounds before exiting the game. That was still an improvement over his Game 3 output, when he had a mere three points and four rebounds while making just one of his nine shots.

The shooting touch hasn't been there for Love the entire postseason (36.4 FG%), but he still managed to be productive until the last two games. Through the first two rounds of the playoffs, Love averaged a double-double for the Cavaliers. In his Cleveland's Game 1 and 2 wins against the Raptors, his rebounding went down, but he scored a combined 33 points.

Fortunately for the Cavs, it doesn't sound like Love is going to miss time due to his knee injury. Now, he just needs to find a way to repair his hurting confidence.
