In the upcoming NBA season, we will see less of Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, JR Smith, and the rest of the Cleveland Cavs on TV. Thanks a lot, LeBron James.

As observed by Redditor u/ASK_ME_IF_IM_A_LLAMA, the Cavaliers had 39 nationally televised games last season. This season, without LeBron James in the mix, they will only have two. That's 37 less nationally televised games.

Per NBA.com, there will only be two nationally televised games for the Cavaliers this season.

On November 13, they'll play at home against the Charlotte Hornets, on November 21, they'll play against the Los Angeles Lakers, December 8 against the Washington Wizards, January 13 against the Lakers, February 13 against the Brooklyn Nets, March 11 against the Toronto Raptors, April 1 versus the Phoenix Suns.

Of note, some of the games mentioned are on NBA TV, which do not technically count as nationally televised broadcasts.

Their game versus the Lakers and James is expected. After James leaves for a brand new team, there's much anticipation how his former team will greet him. Since he parted with the wine and gold on good terms, we should not expect a ton of fireworks when he meets the Love, Thompson, Smith, and the rest of the crew.

As for the Wizards and Raptors, the wine and gold has had its fair share of battles against these teams. Though it'll be different this year, a good amount of basketball can still be expected when they face off.

Poor Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, JR Smith and the rest of the Cavs.
