The Sacramento Kings have had trouble winning games this season sitting at a 4-7 record through Friday night.

Getting acclimated to coach Dave Joerger‘s system has been a work in progress, and it has put the Kings in the direct line of trade rumors.

One player rumored by ESPN's Marc Stein to be moved is big man Willie Cauley-Stein.

“Keep an eye on Kings big man Willie Cauley-Stein. Word is Sacramento is open to moving the second-year big man, who wants more of a role than he has under new Kings coach Dave Joerger.”

The Kings have not decided to trade Cauley-Stein who happens to be one of their best defensive players and is said that the team loves and values his energy from the bench.

Cauley-Stein is averaging only 4.8 points and 1.8 rebounds per game, but is improving with each passing week and is eager to prove that he deserves to stay on the floor.

“I’m tired of not playing, so just going blood when you go in, just going as hard as you can for as long as you can.”

“Just trying to figure out where you fit in with our team, we’ve got a lot of vets and I’m still young, so it’s different. You’ve got to try and gain everyone’s trust again with new coaches and new players.”

The biggest issue could be the new coach and players trying to adjust to a new system. It's going to take time because Joerger runs complex sets on both ends of the floor.

The team is playing hard but isn't able to close out games very well. However, they still have the personnel to go above .500 as the season progresses.

Cauley-Stein has to learn his new role and figure out his place again, but most importantly he is learning.
