The start of the 2016-2017 season not only marks the 21st year the Kings have been in Sacramento but also the start of a lot of firsts for the team.
They welcomed a new head coach in Dave Joerger plus key additions to their roster. The team also unveiled its new logo following their re-branding to usher in a new era of Sacramento Kings basketball.
Their marketing team's efforts have not gone to waste as the design they made has been recently named as one of the finalists for the Primary Logo and Alternate Logo of the Year awards by sportslogos.net.
