The Denver Nuggets are one of the hottest teams in the league right now, owners of a six-game winning streak and is currently second in the West with a 13-3 slate.

Ahead of Sacramento Kings’ match versus the streaking Nuggets on Saturday, Bogdan Bogdanovic doesn’t seem too concerned about their opponent’s hot streak.

“They (Nuggets) are trying to make a step further just like us, we have already played with them once, and we know each other well, we can expect a good and strong game, with an uncertain result, like in the previous game,” the Serbian sharpshooter said, via Tom Sheen of The Sun.

“I think that we can do it much better, especially in offence, we played good defense in the previous game and we shall see about the next game,” he added.

The Nuggets got the better of the Kings in their first match-up of the season, bagging a 101-94 win last month. Bogdanovic only had six points, five rebound and six assists in that game, and he hopes to come up with a much better performance this time around.

Bogdanovic knows that stopping his Serbian national team teammate Nikola Jokic will be crucial for the Kings.

“It’s good to play against him, he is one of the top centers in the league and one of the top players,” Bogdanovic said. “He is proving that again this season, it will be a fun match-up. I hope that he will have a bad day!”

After losing their first five games of the season, Sacramento has bounced back nicely (despite injuries to key stars) and have won seven of their last 12 games. They are currently ninth in the West with a 7-10 record.
