If there’s one thing the Sacramento Kings do not lack, it’s team chemistry. Kings forward Buddy Hield was hilariously tripping on rookie Tyrese Haliburton, locking him up in the bathroom of the team’s bus. Hield went on Instagram live as he continued to troll on the rookie, showing no mercy as he continued to ask Haliburton several questions.

It’s good to see the Kings' players in this mood, especially with the season they’ve been through yet again. The team had a golden opportunity to make it to the Western Conference play-in tournament. Unfortunately, they lost guard De’Aaron Fox to health and safety protocols. Fox will be out for the next 10-14 days.

The Kings were five games behind the Golden State Warriors for the 10th seed in the West, which is the final spot for the play-in tournament. It doesn’t help that they have a tough schedule coming up against the Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, Utah Jazz, and Los Angeles Lakers. They’re about to play these teams without one of their best players,  so the Kings may be very well be looking at an early offseason.

However, if there’s another thing Sacramento can smile about, it’s the progress of Haliburton. The 21-year-old was picked 12th in the first round of this year’s NBA draft. He's averaging 12.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per ga,e this season, showing glimpses of what he can be in the future.

Haliburton is expected to start at point guard with Fox out for the team's coming games.
