The Kings have shocked a lot of people by actually being competitive this season. De'Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield are having the best seasons of their career. Fox is a pick and roll maestro and seems to have some of the best playmaking skills in the NBA. Hield has turned into a deadeye off the ball shooter who Fox finds every game.
Bogdonavic has been a very good starter for the Kings. He's averaged 15.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game while shooting 43.8 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from deep. Though the statistics don't show it, Bogdonavic is a fantastic marksman from beyond the arc. Teams really respect him from deep, and he takes a lot of contested shots and still hits above league average. He's a huge difference maker for their offense.
The Lakers are starting to struggle after rebounding from a poor start to the season. LeBron James is now day-to-day with a grade three groin strain. He didn't even travel to Sacramento for the game against the Kings. The Lakers have had to rely on Kuzma's offense with the departure of James.
The Kings are now 19-16 on the season and have snuck into the 8th seed of the NBA's Western Conference under head coach Dave Joerger. They will face off next against the Los Angeles Lakers at home this upcoming Sunday.
