The Sacramento Kings' second-year man in De'Aaron Fox notched the first-triple double of his career. What makes this milestone sweeter is that he joins LeBron James as the only players ever to record a 30-point triple-double before turning 21 years old.

De'Aaron Fox finished with 31 points, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds in the Kings' 146-115 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. He shot 9-of-13 from the field for a red-hot 69.2 percent. He also converted on 3-of-4 shots from downtown as well as going 10-of-11 from the free throw line.

It's an incredible feat for the 20-year-old Fox who was the fifth overall selection by the Kings in the 2017 NBA Draft. Slowly and surely, he is evolving into the Kings' franchise player. Time will only tell if he also joins James as one of the top players in the league.

To recall, LeBron James entered the league as an 18-year-old basketball prodigy. He is perhaps the most hyped prospect during that time and since his first professional game, James never failed to astonish. He holds several “youngest player” NBA records — some of which may only be tied but will never be surpassed.

Now, the challenge for the Kings' De'Aaron Fox is to aim for consistency. He certainly has the skillset. But what separates great players from the lot is the ability to perform at an elite level every single night.
