The Sacramento Kings are having their best season in a long time this year and starting point guard De'Aaron Fox says the chemistry on the team is a big reason why.

The Kings defeated the lowly New York Knicks on Saturday by a final score of 102-94 to improve to 33-32 on the season. Sacramento is looking to make the playoffs for the first time since 2006.

We've seen in the past that when players don't get along on a team, it carries over to the court.

The Kings don't have that issue. The players love playing with each other. The roster is fairly young so the guys can relate to each other off the court.

De'Aaron Fox, the Kings' best player, is having a stellar sophomore season. The 21-year-old entered Saturday averaging 17.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game while shooting 45.8 percent from the field, 36.7 percent from beyond the arc and 72.2 percent from the free-throw line.

With the win over the Knicks, Sacramento is in the ninth place in the Western Conference standings. They trail the San Antonio Spurs by 3.5 games for the eighth and final playoff spot in the West.

For so many years, the Kings were riddled with dysfunction and losing. This season has been a breath of fresh air.
