After one whole year of sitting out, Harry Giles os the Sacramento Kings is ready to play. He has shown what he's capable of in the Summer League. Giles, however, said that this is just an appetizer on what he can do.

Per NBA reporter Jessica Camerato, Giles said:

The 6'10 forward-center was drafted 20th overall in the 2017 NBA Draft. But the Kings opted that he sit out his entire first year so he can work on his strength and conditioning.

Now in the Summer League, he's putting up points and boards. Against the Miami Heat, he put up 11 points and 12 rebounds. Against the Cleveland Cavaliers, he logged in seven points, five rebounds, and six assists before getting thrown out of the game in the fourth quarter after collecting two technical fouls.

Little by little, Harry Giles is making an impact. Given his numbers, he might even be a triple-double machine once he reaches his full potential.

He admitted that sitting out an entire year ruined his confidence a bit. But Giles kept at it. But a practice game in Cleveland served as a turning point:

“I’ll pass one day. I’ll score one day. Might play defense one day. Then one day, I just started getting it together,” Giles told Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated. “I think we had a practice at Cleveland and I just dominated practice one day in my head. It was there and somewhere else, I just felt like I had two great practices and played well. Ever since then, that confidence just kept going.”
