On Saturday, the father of Marvin Bagley III took to Twitter to air his frustrations about his son's role with the Sacramento Kings. Mr. Bagley was so incensed with the situation that he actually demanded that his son be traded.

Marvin faced the media on Sunday ahead of Sacramento's matchup against the Golden State Warriors on Monday, and apparently, the 21-year-old was adamant about not wanting to talking about the hot issue:

“Before we start, I just want to say that if there are no questions about the game tomorrow or what we’re going to do tomorrow, please don’t ask, I don’t want to give any extra information on nothing,” Bagley said on Sunday to open his media availability, via James Ham of NBC Sports. “If you don’t have any questions about the team and tomorrow’s game, then hold off.”

Bagley was clearly not in a jovial mood during the press conference, which may point to the fact that he is indeed unhappy with his current situation with the Kings.

The former second overall pick is coming off an injury-plagued 2019-20 season, wherein he was able to suit up for just 13 games for Sacramento. It appears that he has now fully recovered from the foot injury he sustained last term, but he's had a rather lackluster start to the new season.

In six games played, Bagley has averaged 11.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in 25.0 minutes per game. While the playing time is there, the former Duke standout hasn't been closing games for coach Luke Walton on most nights.
