The new season has barely even started and already, the Sacramento Kings are looking like a lottery-bound team. The Kings suffered a huge blowout defeat on Saturday, as they were absolutely pummeled by the Utah Jazz, 113-81.

Following the contest, new Kings head coach Luke Walton had nothing nice to say about his team. According to the former Los Angeles Lakers shot-caller, he believes that his side should be embarrassed with how they played on Saturday.

“I don’t know what that was tonight,” head coach Luke Walton said, via James Ham of NBC Sports. “That’s not who we are. Honestly, that was an embarrassing performance that we gave out there and that’s coaches included. That’s everybody – the Kings fans and the organization deserve a better effort than that.”

Walton did not mince words, and neither did he leave anyone out. The 39-year-old even included himself and his entire coaching staff as one of the culprits of what was truly a forgettable outing for Sacramento.

The Kings' defense was pretty much non-existent against the Jazz, as Walton's men allowed their opponents to score at will against them. Utah ended up shooting 56.4% from the floor against Sacramento, as well as 48.6% from distance.

That's now three straight losses for the Kings to open the campaign, following a 122-112 loss against the Portland Trailblazers on Friday, and another blowout defeat against the Phoenix Suns, 124-95, on opening night. To say that Sacramento are off to a rocky start would be a complete understatement at this point.
