The Sacramento Kings and Utah Jazz kick off their seasons Wednesday as the two Western Conference teams face off in the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.

While this might seem like just a boring old regular-season game, the Kings' Twitter account decided to spice up the season opener by starting some online beef.

Recently, Sacramento has been near the bottom end of some rankings and has not taken it too kindly — being ranked as one of the most miserable franchises can do that.

The Kings decided to flip the script and do some rankings of their own, making their first opponent their prime target:

The Jazz had this simple response:

These two squads are trending in opposite directions, as the Jazz are coming off a strong postseason performance while the Kings haven't sniffed the playoffs in 12 seasons, the longest streak in the NBA.

Utah seems to have found a franchise cornerstone in Donovan Mitchell, who finished second in 2017-18 Rookie of the Year voting behind the Philadelphia 76ers' Ben Simmons.

Sacramento hopes its second overall pick, Marvin Bagley III, can produce just as Mitchell has and finally break the team's stretch of questionable draft picks.

Now that Kings Twitter has hyped the game a little, it will be fun to watch a showdown between the two young players and their respective teams.
