Vlade Divac and the Sacramento Kings continue to bolster their roster with free agency underway on Sunday evening. Enter Trevor Ariza.

After already agreeing to a pair of deals with Harrison Barnes and Dewayne Dedmon, the Kings agreed to a two-year deal with Trevor Ariza worth $25 million, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic:

This will be Ariza's fourth team in three years. After spending four seasons with the Houston Rockets, he began the 2018-19 campaign with the Phoenix Suns before getting dealt to the Washington Wizards.

Known mostly for being a “3 and D” guy, Ariza put together one of his best stat lines in 43 games in Washington. He averaged 14.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game, although he did shoot just over 40 percent from the field.

The Kings now have multiple athletic wings capable of spreading the floor: Barnes and Ariza. The Kings were already one of the better 3-point shooting teams, ranking fourth in the league in 3-point percentage this past season.

Ariza was seen by many as the missing piece for the Houston Rockets in this season's series against the Golden State Warriors. The Rockets struggled to hold Kevin Durant in check before his injury, with Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry busting loose in Games 5 and 6.

Although this Kings team is hardly the same kind of contender as the 2017-18 Rockets–who came within a game of reaching the NBA Finals–they are loaded with a good mix of young talent and vets, and could certainly be in the playoff mix next year.
