Sacramento Kings rookie Tyrese Haliburton is having quite an impressive start to his NBA career so far. A steady 42.6 percent 3-point shooter in his two seasons at Iowa State, some doubted whether the 6-foot-5 guard's shot would be as effective in the NBA due to his unorthodox looking form.

After another solid outing in Sacramento's 125-115 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday, Haliburton continued to silence his doubters and reminded everyone who questioned whether his play would translate to the next level.

To showcase his range, Haliburton even bombed one from Steph Curry range to put the Kings up by 12 with a little over three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

Haliburton saw crunch time minutes once again from head coach Luke Walton as he made big plays down the stretch. He connected with big man Richaun Holmes on a couple of solid pick-and-roll plays late in the game to help the Kings fend off the Nuggets at home. This year's no. 12 overall pick finished his night with 13 points, three rebounds, and six assists, while shooting 5-of-7 from the field and 3-of-4 from long distance.

On the season, Haliburton is averaging 10.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 5.8 assists, while shooting an efficient 56 percent from the field and 50 percent from the line. While this is just a small sample, the early returns from the 20-year old rook have been promising so far. Haliburton has looked really comfortable out there in his first four NBA games. He plays well beyond his years and looks unfazed under the bright lights of the big leagues.

Tyrese Haliburton certainly looks like the real deal and should emerge as one of the contenders for Rookie of the Year. Again, he landed to the Kings at no. 12 in the 2020 NBA draft.
