Sacramento Kings general manager Vlade Divac believes the Kings' vacant coaching job is an attractive one.

Divac fired Dave Joerger on Thursday. The Kings finished this season at 39-43. It was the most games Sacramento has won in a season since 2005-06.

“We are very confident we are a good destination now,” Divac said, via Jason Jones of The Athletic. “We have a good team, talented team, and I’m confident we’re going to have a lot of different options.”

The Kings have a young roster which showed this season it can compete against the best teams in the league.

Sacramento is led by explosive young point guard De'Aaron Fox, who averaged 17.3 points and 7.3 assists per game this season. Shooting guard Buddy Hield established himself as one of the best snipers in the NBA. Hield shot 42.7 percent beyond the arc this season, which was good for seventh in the league.

Marvin Bagley III had a sound rookie campaign for the Kings. The 20-year-old put up 14.9 points and 7.6 rebounds while shooting 50.4 percent from the field. This offseason is the first time in a long time we can say the future is bright in Sacramento.

It's going to be interesting to see whom Divac decides to interview and ultimately hire as his new head coach.
