During his playing days, Vlade Divac made a name for himself for being a big man with a decent perimeter game, who is also very crafty near the basket. However, he showed off recently that he still has the skills to make tough shots, despite already retired from professional basketball.

It’s not just any other tough shot though, as the Sacramento Kings general manager knocked down a half-court heave, with his back behind the rim. He even made it on his first attempt, which delighted all the kids he was giving a pep talk to. It also adds to their amazement that he was just very casual about it, and made it appear like it was something he does on a regular basis.

Divac played in the NBA for 16 seasons for three different franchises. Despite draining a total of 100 3-pointers over that span, he was only a 23.5 percent shooter from beyond the arc. He made a living on post moves and perimeter jumpers, and was known for being a good defender as well. He has career averages of 11.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.4 blocks in 29.8 minutes per game.

Now serving as a front office executive for the Kings, he is in charge of making big decisions that could affect the franchise’s future. But with his knowledge of the game, he definitely has the makings of being a successful one. It also helps that he is one of the more popular players that has played for the team, and now has more young fans, especially after making the impressive shot right in front of the kids.
