Sacramento Kings big man Willie Cauley-Stein appears to be extremely pleased with the make up of his team right now. According to the 7-foot center, this is the best Kings side he's ever been a part of chemistry-wise.

The franchise has been a pleasant surprise so far this season. Now with eight wins against six losses, Sacramento is sitting at the eighth spot of the highly-competitive Western Conference.

We're not getting carried away here and say that the Kings will make the Playoffs, but the fact of the matter is that they're playing really good basketball right now.

For Cauley-Stein, it all boils down to the team's chemistry. With how well the Kings are meshing right now, it would be hard to argue with the 25-year-old's sentiments.

Gneral manager Vlade Divac and head coach Dave Joerger have done an outstanding job in assembling a very promising team following the departure of former cornerstone star DeMarcus Cousins one and a half seasons ago.

As it turns out, the rebuilding process appears to be paying dividends already at this point.

The Kings have won two of their last three games, and notably, both victories were against highly-rated Western Conference teams in the form of the Minnesota Timberwolves and the San Antonio Spurs.

For his part, Cauley-Stein has been a steady presence down low for the franchise. He has been outstanding thus far, averaging career-best numbers in points (16.5), field goal percentage (56.7%), rebounds (8.6), and minutes per contest (29).

It's been a great start for Cauley-Stein and the Kings so far, and hopefully, they are able to sustain the impressive chemistry they have built for the long haul.
