The Sacramento Kings duo of Marvin Bagley III and De'Aaron Fox recently found themselves in hot water as their parents fired subtle shots at each other on Twitter. Despite the ongoing rift, it seems like all is still well between Bagley and Fox over at Sacramento.

Via Jason Jones of The Athletic:

“It would be far-fetched to think the Kings’ season could be completely derailed by parental tweets, especially when league sources said Fox and Bagley are perfectly fine with each other. The only reason anyone would believe this could be a reason for poor play is that it is the Kings, where the wacky and unbelievable has a tendency to happen.”

Bagley's father, Marvin Bagley Jr., started the saga by publicly tweeting a trade request after his son saw limited action in the early stages of the season. The tweet has now been deleted but it still got the attention of Aaron Fox, the father of De'Aaron Fox.

Fox then replied to a Twitter post and posted the words ‘Trade him' as a shot directed at the Bagley family.

Despite the assurance that everything is fine between  Fox and Bagley, the notion certainly didn't translate to their play on the court. The Kings are still struggling, like they usually do, in the early stages of the season.

They recently concluded a three-game road trip which resulted in consecutive losses to the Houston Rockets on a back-to-back along with a lopsided defeat at the hands of the Golden State Warriors.

With a 3-4 record, both Marvin Bagley III and De'Aaron Fox would need to rally their team to ensure that no bridges will be burned within the players in their locker room moving forward.
