DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay wanted a way out of the Sacramento Kings and yet both remain.
Seth Curry on the other hand was looking for a new home, and the Kings rescinded his offer opening the door for the Dallas Mavericks to sign him to a two year $5 million contract deal.

Starting point guard Darren Collison will be out for the first eight games of the season due to league suspension.
Handing the reigns to Curry would have helped alleviate this dilemma, but he is no longer on the roster.
Young talent still matters in the league, and it's not always best to make hasty decisions.
The Kings have made several questionable decisions over the years that now have them clawing for another trip to the postseason, which they have yet to accomplish.
Curry is looking to have a better year with the Mavericks in hopes of finding a home, and a nice pay day.
