At 40 years old and in his 20th NBA season, Vince Carter is one of the few remaining active players from his generation. While Carter has only appeared in 21 games for the Sacramento Kings, he recently turned back the clock with a 24-point performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

While it remains to be seen just how long Carter will continue to play in the NBA, he provided another highlight during the team's practice according to Twitter:

Along with making a shot from the opposite free throw line during practice, the eight-time All-Star is still able to dunk with ease in the final chapters of his career. Although he is only averaging 3.9 points in 14.6 minutes per game this season, he serves as a great mentor on and off the court for an extremely young Kings roster.

With the Kings currently 12-23, it will be interesting to see if they move Carter, Zach Randolph, and George Hill as the February trade deadline approaches. As it would be especially nice to see Carter playing for a championship contender, the Kings would be able to provide ample minutes for the team's young core to develop in the second half of the season.
