Even after a good performance in his last game against the New York Giants, all eyes are will be on quarterback Kirk Cousins when he takes on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Cousins has played well against bad teams but struggled against the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers this year. So what will he do on Sunday against the Eagles? Let's breakdown three bold predictions for Kirk Cousins.

3. Cousins has a better game than he did against the Giants

Cousins threw for 306 yards and two touchdowns against the Giants and I think on Sunday he is going to have a better game.

The Eagles have a good run defense giving up only 111.8 rush yards per game which means it's going to be tough sledding for Dalvin Cook.

That means for Vikings to have success Cousins is going to need to be effective through the air and he should have no issue going against an Eagles defense that is giving up 227.4 yards per game through the air. Two weeks ago against the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers threw for 422 yards and two touchdowns. I am not sure Cousins will reach that number, but he should be good in this game.

2. Cousins spreads it around

The Vikings have two elite receivers in Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs and they both should have 100-yard receiving games in this one. Against the Giants Thielen had seven catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns.

Two weeks ago Diggs went over 100 yards but against the Giants, he only caught three passes for 44 yards. This game both guys put it all together and Cousins is going to hit on the deep throws and they both should have really big games.

Diggs has made it clear he wants to be in Minnesota and just wants to win, and he is going to get his wish again on Sunday.

1. Cousins gives Vikings fans hope

Early in the season Vikings fans have been tough on Cousins because he can't win big games. After last Sunday's victory against the Giants, Vikings fans were happy, but they know that Cousins needs to win the big games, and this Sunday with a win, I think Vikings fans will have increased confidence.

Cousins is going to lead the Vikings to win, and for at least one week, the buzz around Minnesota will be that maybe Cousins is alright.
