Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson finally got his chance to give a response to Milwaukee Bucks guard Jason Terry‘s ranking of him among second tier players.

Terry was interviewed on SiriusXM NBA Radio, where he said that James Harden was the best shooting guard in the league, not Thompson.

He's not leading s–t.  If he doesn’t make shots, how effective is he?

Terry then went on to name players he believes are the cream of the crop in the league before naming what he considers “B-side players”, such as Thompson and Kawhi Leonard.

Thompson has a different view on how the league works and wholeheartedly disagreed.

I honestly don't even know what that means. Whatever Jason wants to call me, I'll be a ‘B-side player.' I'll be a ‘B-side' on my way to compete for championships. It's OK with me.

Kawhi Leonard is a ‘B-side player?' Man, that man was a Finals MVP and one of the best two-way players in the game.

Thompson who also helped lead the Warriors to a championship as well as a historic 73-win season averaged 22.1 points last year, while shooting 47% from the field and 42.5% from beyond the arc. He also managed to hit 276 three-pointers which happened to be the third-most in NBA history.

Terry is either delusional, or he needs to change his definition.
