Knicks unveil new "Hardwood Classic" uniforms

The New York Knicks unveiled new Hardwood Classic uniforms that they will wear eight times during the 2016-17 season, the first time being November 2nd.

The New York Knicks are going retro — 70 years retro, to be exact.

The team's Twitter account shared a video on Wednesday showcasing its new 1946-47 Hardwood Classic jersey design along with the history behind it.

The uniform features the classic thin lettering and thick two-color trim with the New York City blue and orange along with a patch commemorating the team's 70th anniversary.

The Knicks are set to debut their hardwood classics on Wednesday, Nov. 2 when they host the Houston Rockets, one of eight occasions where they will don this year's retros.
