Veteran point guard Jarrett Jack is itching to get back into action and help his new team, the New York Knicks, win as many games as possible now that he's back fully healthy.

Jack, who is in Tarrytown in preparation for the Knicks’ training camp, told Adam Zagoria of SNY.tv that he is thrilled of what awaits him in his first season as a Knickerbocker, regardless of what role he’ll have for the storied franchise.

“Whatever job capacity they need, I feel I've been in all of them,” Jack, who has career averages of 11.0 points and 4.5 assists, said Tuesday at the Knicks' facility. “And done well in all of them. If that's what it is, that's cool. If it's not, that's cool, too. There's a lot of ways to make a significant impact on team. It's a long season, long journey. Who knows how it shakes out when all said and done? I think I'm a well-rounded player.”

Jarrett Jack is coming off a torn meniscus injury that forced him to miss all but two games of last season for the New Orleans Pelicans. It was an unfortunate turn of events for Jack, who previously ended his 2015-16 campaign for the Brooklyn Nets after only 32 games played due to a torn ACL.

Despite the injuries, Jack was still able to find a job over the offseason, thanks to the Knicks, who signed the 12-year pro to a one-year contract worth $2.3 million.

Jack, however, will have to battle for minutes in his position with the Knicks' depth chart currently listing five point guards.

Since being selected in the first round of the 2005 NBA Draft, the former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket has played for seven different NBA teams before hooking up with the Knicks.
