The New York Knicks will head into Media Day and the start of training camp with a myriad of questions on the table. Following a tumultuous 2016-17 season and consequent offseason, the organization has been kept at arms length of its prized unicorn Kristaps Porzingis (and that's a good distance).

The 7-foot-3 forward will be heading into his third season in the league and his second under head coach Jeff Hornacek, one with which he butted heads throughout the season — a rumor Hornacek was quick to refute, saying he has a good relationship with him and refusing to comment on any reports that say otherwise, according to ESPN's Ian Begley.

Kristaps Porzingis skipped exit meetings with the media and the front office at the end of last season, prompting reason for concern after he showed his utter disapproval for the way former president Phil Jackson dangled teammate Carmelo Anthony for a trade the day prior to his media obligations.

The 22-year-old spent his entire offseason in Europe, going from Spain to his native Latvia, where he shined playing for his national team in this year's EuroBasket.

Knicks scouts and team personnel were present throughout the event, though none of the team's brass or Hornacek made the trip to see him compete.
