New York Knicks big man Nerlens Noel recently found himself involved in rumors speculated by an alleged reporter named Vin Fosh on Twitter.

According to this “report,” Noel is unhappy in New York and wants a trade. Noel responded and shut it down:

Fosh may have speculated on Noel's trade request after seeing him garner limited action in the early stages of the season. Noel is only averaging 3.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 0.3 assists through 15.2 minutes played in six games thus far.

Noel last played in the Knicks' game against the Indiana Pacers, recording four points and six rebounds in 17 minutes as part of a surprise victory. The big man sat out New York's last game against the Atlanta Hawks, another impressive victory in which the Knicks erased a 15-point deficit. New York is a surprising 4-3 on the season.

Noel signed with the Knicks this past offseason on a one-year, $5 million deal. The former lottery pick has bounced around a bit after starting his career with the Philadelphia 76ers. While his career has been a disappointment, he can still provide some energy minutes and rim protection in a reserve role.

Nerlens Noel may not be seeing heavy minutes on the floor right now, but he personally refuted the rumors that he is unhappy with New York. For a change, this Knicks team is finally gaining momentum and will look to continue their good showing as they host the Utah Jazz on Jan. 6.
