It's a new day with the New York Knicks, with the Charles Oakley-James Dolan fight taking yet another turn. This time with Oakley's lawyer denying that he edited a video that showed Oakley getting ejected from Madison Square Garden.

On Thursday Oakley's attorney, Douglas Wigdor released a video that appears to show Dolan motioning security to eject Oakley.

The Madison Square Garden company released a statement saying that the video was actually edited, and they have submitted the full unedited version to the courts to review.

“Today’s claims are nothing more than Oakley’s latest attempt to distract from the real reasons why he was ejected. We like the videos – they show what actually happened, which is why Oakley’s lawyer continues to fight to exclude them from the court case. As opposed to the edited and manipulated video posted by Oakley’s counsel, we filed the entire unedited video with the Court months ago. As we’ve stated before, we believe this suit has no merit and should be dismissed.”

On Friday morning, Wigdor released a statement saying that he in no way “edited and manipulated” the video like James Dolan and Madison Square Garden are claiming.

It's hard to know who exactly to believe, but it's odd that Madison Square Garden is saying that they have submitted a different video, and if Oakley's lawyer did edit the video at all, that would be an odd strategy, because the Arena is going to have the original videos and can prove that pretty easily.

This drama between Charles Oakley and Dolan seems unnecessary and has been dragged on for too long now. Poor Knicks fans are stuck in the middle.
