New York Knicks head coach David Fizdale is sticking up for the guy who writes his checks, Knicks owner James Dolan.

Every single fan in New York wants Dolan to sell the team. He's widely perceived to be the worst owner in the NBA. The Knicks have been a laughingstock under Dolan and fans are tired of him.

However, Fizdale says Dolan has been nothing but good to him and the players this season.

“Incredibly supportive,’’ Fizdale said when asked about how the owner’s demeanor following their morning shootaround at Bankers Life Field House, via Marc Berman of the New York Post. “He’s been just a delight with how supportive he’s been. Coming in and encouraging me before every home game. Constantly reminding me, ‘stick to the plan, hang in there, keep developing, keep growing them, keep them fighting,’ and we’ll deal with the result. I’ve just been really lucky with how he’s been.”

Dolan is in the news again after a video vent viral of him kicking a fan out of Madison Square Garden.

The fan told Dolan to sell the team. Dolan didn't like the comment and told the fan it was rude.

Knicks fans are hoping one day Dolan will sell the franchise.
