Two days removed from the 44-point beat down they took at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks, the New York Knicks once again lost by a big margin. They were humiliated by the Denver Nuggets, 129-92, at the Madison Square Garden on Thursday.

Knicks head coach David Fizdale described the current state of his team as “sickening” as he addressed the media post game. He said that he and his team will once again sit through the game tape in a bid to learn from their mistakes, per a clip from SNY.

“They’re going to have to re-watch it, just like I’m going to watch it three or four times and I’m going to have to suffer through it as well”.

The Knicks were outclassed from the get-go as Mitchell Robinson was the only one who provided some energy, tallying 17 points and 10 rebounds. Bobby Portis and Marcus Morris also finished in double figures with 10 markers a piece. New York's defense was pretty much non existent, allowing eight Nuggets players to score in double figures, led by Will Barton's 17.

Losers of their last eight games, the Knicks are currently dead last in the East at 4-18 and they own the second-worst record in the league behind the Golden State Warriors. Some disgruntled fans are calling for the removal of Fizdale, but the 45-year-old mentor still believes that his group can still turn it around.

“I still think we have a group that’s going to fight for each other. I think this group will come back to work and try to solve the problem. We got a lot of character in that room, so I’m not concerned.”
