In an interview with Steve Serby of the New York Post recently, New York Knicks small forward Doug McDermott answered questions about his first year with the team, his future goals and what some of his teammates are like.

When asked about Knicks teammate and star power forward Kristaps Porzingis, McDermott spoke very highly of him and shared a funny story about an iPad.

“He’s like the humblest superstar I’ve been around,” McDermott said of Porzingis. “He’s the kind of guy that we got on the plane, and he keeps borrowing my iPad to play Monopoly with Willy [Hernangomez]. I feel like a librarian, giving him my iPad all the time and he’ll return it to me when we get back to New York ’cause he’s still playing with it in his hotel room.”

Porzingis, who's in his third year in the league after being drafted fourth overall in the 2015 NBA Draft, is currently the fourth-leading scorer in the league with 27.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.3 blocked shots per game in 33 minutes of action per contest.

The Knicks (8-7) have an off day today and Sunday, but will return home to Madison Square Garden on Monday to face the struggling Los Angeles Clippers (5-9), who have lost nine of their last 10 games. The contest, which is scheduled to tip off shortly after 7:30 p.m. ET, will be broadcast live locally on MSG.
