New York Knicks point guard Emmanuel Mudiay got a Dwyane Wade Miami Heat jersey after all.

If you recall, when Wade played his last game at Madison Square Garden, Mudiay wanted to jersey swap with him. Wade, though, had already picked the player he was going to sway jerseys with.

Unfortunately for Mudiay, the video went viral of him getting rejected by Wade.

But since Wade is one of the nicest guys in the league, he gave the Knicks guard a signed jersey:

This is great. The Knicks were a joke this season on the court and things were more amplified when Mudiay got denied by Wade.

The fine people of social media had plenty of jokes about it, so it's nice to see Wade took care of Mudiay.

This season was Mudiay's first full year with the Knicks. He played in 59 games and averaged 14.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists per contest while shooting 44.6 percent from the field, 32.9 percent from beyond the arc and 77.4 percent from the free-throw line.

New York finished the season at 17-65. They had the worst record in the Eastern Conference. Knicks fans are praying the franchise gets the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft so the front office can select Duke star Zion Williamson.
