The New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets are developing a crosstown rivalry. Enes Kanter and Spencer Dinwiddie are leading the charge for their teams and they continued the trash talk on Thursday.

Kanter posted a photo of himself standing in front of a Brooklyn Nets logo on double doors in the Barclays Center while giving a thumbs down. But his arch-nemesis Spencer Dinwiddie wouldn't let this one slide.

Dinwiddie makes light of the fact that Kanter is standing on the outside of the doors. Of course, these two aren't all that serious with this beef. But regardless, the rivalry seems to be gaining some traction.

This wasn't the first feud between the two. Earlier this month, the two were feuding on Twitter over who was the best team in New York. There's a legitimate argument to be made for both teams, but it was odd to see Dinwiddie so quick to engage in trash talk.

The Nets were swept in four games against the Knicks last season. Dinwiddie will have to back up all his talk in the offseason.

Although the Knicks will be missing their superstar, Kristaps Porzingis, for the foreseeable future, there's no guarantee that the Nets will take the season series this year. The Nets are trending in the right direction, but the Knicks are sure to be motivated to take down their rival.

The Knicks and the Nets are both longshots to make the postseason, but at the very least, there's a rivalry brewing in the Big Apple.
