New York Knicks center Enes Kanter is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Philadephia 76ers due to illness.

Kanter enjoyed a nice cheat meal several days ago, which consisted of seven cheeseburgers and fries.

It certainly looked like a tasty meal, but apparently, it wasn't exactly an ideal decision when it comes to trying to play basketball.

Of course, that led to Kanter eventually missing Friday's game against the Indiana Pacers, with the Knicks suffering yet another loss in a 121-106 defeat.

Now, it appears that Kanter is still unlikely to make his return to the court since he missed practice on Saturday, according to Zach Braziller of the New York Post.

It hasn't exactly been a great season for the former Kentucky star, as he has lost his starting spot while also being the subject of various trade rumors.

Kanter is averaging 14.4 points and 11.0 rebounds on the season, but there's no doubt that his frustration continues to grow due to his current role with the team.

As for the Knicks, they're trying to get things on track, but that hasn't worked out all that well with David Fizdale's now losing 18 of their last 21 games overall.

However, perhaps this five-game homestand will help them find at least a couple of wins.

After the matchup against the Sixers, the Knicks will host the Washington Wizards on Thursday.
