The New York Knicks are listing second-year point guard Frank Ntilikina as questionable to play against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday.

Ntilikina has missed 23 consecutive games due to a groin injury, last playing on Jan. 27 against the Milwaukee Bucks. The 20-year-old practiced with the Knicks' G League team on Tuesday.

There are still some fans in New York who haven't given up on Frank Ntilikina, who has been a bust so far in the NBA.

The Knicks selected Ntilikina with the eighth overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft with the hopes he would become the franchise point guard. However, Ntilikina is very limited in what he can do on offense.

Now that New York has explosive guard Dennis Smith Jr. on the roster, Ntilikina is pretty much expendable in The Big Apple.

In 41 games this season for the Knicks, Ntilikina is averaging 5.9 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest while shooting 34.2 percent from the field, 29.1 percent from beyond the arc and 75.0 percent from the free-throw line.

The most points Ntilikina has scored in an NBA game is 18.

The Knicks are going to finish with one of the worst records in the league again. They are 14-57 on the season, 15th place in the Eastern Conference standings.
