It's been a couple of weeks now since Jalen Brunson made the decision to join the New York Knicks via free agency, and in the process, become one of the most handsomely-paid point guards in the NBA today. The 25-year-old has now sent a special message to Knicks fans everywhere as he begins his preparations for the upcoming campaign.

Brunson had a straightforward message to New York supporters but it should be more than enough to get them hyped for the new season ahead:

“What's up Knicks fans? Jalen Brunson here,” he said, via the Knicks on Twitter. “Just want to say I'm super excited to be a Knick. Can't wait to get started. I'll see you guys in The Garden soon.”

The Knicks did everything in their power to make sure that they would be able to land Brunson in free agency. Fortunately for them, their plan came to fruition and they were able to get their man. It cost them quite a lot of money, though, with the 25-year-old putting pen to paper on a massive four-year contract worth a whopping $104 million.

At this point, it is clear that the Knicks have put all their marbles on Jalen Brunson. They want to win now, and they feel that the acquisition of the 6-foot-1 point guard puts them in the best position to do the same. Alongside the likes of Julius Randle and RJ Barrett, New York is hoping that Brunson leads them to glory in the near future.
