Former NBA guard and current ESPN analyst Jalen Rose thinks New York Knicks power forward Julius Randle can be an All-Star in 2019-20.

Randle signed a three-year, $63 million deal with the Knicks this summer in free agency. Jalen Rose says outside of Blake Griffin, Al Horford and Giannis Antetokounmpo, there aren't too many stud frontcourt players at the four spot in the Eastern Conference like Randle.

Julius Randle played with the New Orleans Pelicans last season. The talented lefty averaged 21.4 points and 8.7 rebounds while shooting 52.4 percent from the field, 34.4 percent from beyond the arc and 73.1 percent from the free-throw line.

Randle, 24, figures to have a high usage rate on the Knicks since New York doesn't have a clear No. 1 option on offense.

The Knicks have a lot of new faces. New York signed Randle, Bobby Portis, Marcus Morris, Taj Gibson, Elfrid Payton, Wayne Ellington and Reggie Bullock in free agency this summer after missing out on Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. They also drafted RJ Barrett and Ignas Brazdeikis in the 2019 NBA Draft.

New York has been a walking disaster for years. The team, though, should be a lot more competitive this upcoming season after acquiring veterans who know what it takes to win in the NBA.
