The New York Knicks suffered two losses on Saturday. The team lost to the Boston Celtics, 103-101 at home, and rookie power forward Kevin Knox for the foreseeable future.

Knox suffered a left ankle sprain and was forced to leave the game. While X-Rays on Knox's ankle came back negative, the 19-year-old is expected to miss two-to-four weeks, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Kevin Knox had a strong summer league showing, and he turned a lot of heads after being booed by Knicks fans at the 2018 NBA Draft. The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 21.3 points and 6.5 rebounds during the Las Vegas summer league and showed off his athleticism and versatility.

This is a tough break for Kevin Knox and the Knicks, who are now 1-2 on the young season. New York is not expected to contend for a playoff spot this season since star power forward Kristaps Porzingis will miss the majority of the year recovering from ACL surgery.

Knicks fans were excited to watch the development of Knox and his high-flying ability. The good news is that it's only an ankle sprain and nothing more serious. Knox scored 10 points in his NBA regular-season debut against the Atlanta Hawks, and 17 in his second game versus the Brooklyn Nets.
